of computer. However, the tutorial is designed for beginners and also

Basics of MS PowerPoint- the tutorial
relies on this versatile software as the main tool used in presentations.
The first session deals with some of the basic elements, menus and
commands encountered .It is recommended for those who are new to this
software and aims to systemically expose the elements of the software
in creating presentations.

Enhancing elements- the most sought
after use for any scientists would be the means to put data into tables,
graphics and graphs. This session deals with the various modes for
embedding tables and building graphs keeping aesthetics and scientific
value in harmony.

Integrating multimedia into presentations - Using other applications
with PowerPoint linking files and using the multimedia choices for
more effective presentations are introduced in this session.

Guidelines for good presentations- this
session aims to give some tips and hints in computer generated presentations
to bring more precision and rationality in an atmosphere of too many
enhancing but confusing tools available.
