i. Subset The Image With Respect To Rectified Toposheet 56F11
1. Click on VIEWER Icon
of the Main Tool Bar
2. Select Viewer type as CLASSIC VIEWER
3. Click OK to get a blank Viewer Window
4. Click on OPEN option from File Menu
5. Select RASTER LAYER option
6. Then Browse for the File PRE_RECT_IMAGE_99-59.IMG and select the same file
7. Click on OK to display on the viewer
8. Right Click and select IMAGE FIT TO WINDOW Option
9. Again Click on OPEN option from File Menu
10. Select RASTER LAYER option
11. Then Browse for the File SUBSET_TOPO_F11.IMG and select the same file
12. Click on OK to display on the viewer
ii. Defining the AOI
13. Click on
the AOI Menu on the Viewer Window
14. Click on TOOLS option. Then AOI Tool Bar will be displayed as shown previously
15. Click on to create a polygonal AOI. In the Viewer, along the border of the
toposheet digitize for AOI. Then the AOI is shown below
16. The Rectangular Box shows the AOI
iii. Subset the image based on AOI
17. Click on DATPREP

18. Select SUBSET IMAGE option. Then it will display SUBSET Window as shown
previously
19. Select INPUT Files as PRE_RECT_IMAGE_99-59.IMG
20. Type OUTPUT FILE name as SUBSET_IMAGE_99-59_F11
21. Select the FOUR CORNERS options as the SUBSET DEFINITION
22. CHECK on IGNORE ZEORS IN OUTPUT STAT
23. Click on AOI Tab. Then Choose AOI Window Displayed as shown Previously
24. Select VIEWER Option
25. Click OK to get back to SUBSET Window
26. Click OK
iv. Viewing the SUBSET Image
27. Click on VIEWER
