About Training TRANSFER SURVEY

As you very well aware that National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) at Hyderabad through its innovative, need-based human resource development programmes and demand-driven capacity building initiatives in the specialized areas of agricultural research has been supporting the NARS evolve as self-satisfying organization with respect to research, education, and extension capacity demands. In order to improve the design, pattern and content of capacity building programmes to match the evolving demands pertaining to the perspectives of contemporary agricultural dynamics, it is essential to evaluate the overall performance impact of capacity building programmes. Such an impact assessment has been conceived by NAARM with a system’s perspectives comprising of participants’ efforts in learning, effectiveness of training design and delivery of capacity building programmes and organizational support for the participants to transfer the learning back at work place.

In this regard, a study has been contemplated by NAARM on “Assessing training transfer at NARS” to be carried-out with the support of the scientists of NARS who had undergone capacity building (other than FOCARS) at NAARM. Our study can be made more effective with the active involvement and cooperation of scientists like you. A questionnaire in this regard, has been constructed for administration among the scientists of NARS. It has been decided to get the opinion of the NARS scientists, who have undergone training at NAARM (during 2005-2009) other than FOCARS. The questionnaire was sent to every ICAR Institutes and we have already got many responses. However, we would like to extend the opportunity to all those trainees to provide their valuable input through this on-line survey.

On-line survey

This on-line survey is designed to reduce the time taken for answering the questionnaire. To start the survey, click on Survey  in the menu. You have to provide your personal information such as Name, Designation, Institute Name etc. You need to complete 3 sections of the survey. Note that you can continue the survey anytime you like. You are automatically taken into relevant question. You can also review your answers if you want and finally submit your answers. Once submitted, you can only view your responses.

Eligibility

• ICAR employees who have participated in any capacity building programme at NAARM, Hyderabad other than FOCARS

• The period of participation must be between 2005 and 2009

• The scientists who did not already participate in the survey through mailed questionnaire
